To open the Hangouts Chrome extension, at the top right of your browser window, click the Hangouts extension. At the top left, click New conversation. Type a name or email address. Click the name. Type your message. Then, on your keyboard, press Return or Enter. This app would be perfect if it allowed videos to be sent into the chat. Why do the Android and iOS Hangouts apps allow this, but not the CHROMEBOOK Hangouts app?! Chromebooks are Google products.. you would think that they would be fully optimized for all Google software.
